THE ALL AMERICAN TOUR features Larry Conners and the best of his syndicated radio show: An American Story. This is a collection of humorous, emotional and unforgettable stories about spouses, kids, pets and the things that make life so interesting and challenging. For 15 years, Larry has created, written, produced and hosted An American Story and its companion program: American: Fact or Fiction?
Larry has more than 40 years in broadcasting. He's been anchoring tv news in St. Louis since 1975. He's interviewed everyone from U.S. Presidents to death row inmates and covered stories from the Persian Gulf War to disasters to prison breaks to mass murders. Larry has won Emmys, Associated Press and United Press Awards, special recognition from the American Bar Association, various civic and professional groups as well as the George Washington Freedom Foundation Award.
“I really enjoy storytelling, but usually as a news anchor I have to deal with bad news. The All American Tour gives me a chance to entertain audiences with only good news. I know from years of syndicating An American Story that audiences not only enjoy the stories but can relate to them. Audiences can also relate to my personal history—being a stockboy, an oil field roustabout, a cowboy, a disc jockey, a truck driver, a Marine, a golfer, a hunter, a fisherman, a Texas Hold-Em player, a Harley Davidson enthusiast, a pilot with commercial/ multi-engine instrument rating, a radio-TV host/reporter/news anchor....a husband, and most importantly, a father.
